SHIPPING & HANDLING TIMEFRAME

"Birds Of Threads" is a family owned business, so therefore we are juggling business and family ever day. We will aim to ship your orders out as soon as we can but there may be some delays if there is an overwhelming amount of orders to pack. I hope you understand :)

DOMESTIC ORDERS (AUSTRALIA)

FREE STANDARD SHIPPING when you spend over $100! Orders under $100 are a flat rate charge of $7.00 for standard shipping. All express orders are a flat rate of $10.00.

DOMESTIC DELIVERY TIMEFRAME

We will try and aim to have all Australian orders shipped the same day if orders are placed before 2pm (AEST) however if they are placed after this time they will be sent out the next business day.

EXPRESS SHIPPING - We use Australia Post Express which is approximately 1-3 business day delivery within metro cities. Regional areas outside these cities will take approximately 2-5 business days. 

STANDARD SHIPPINGWe use Australia Post Standard shipping which is approximately 3-21 business days.

NEW ZEALAND SHIPPING

We offer New Zealand shipping for a flat rate of $15 and they will be sent with Australia Post. 

NEW ZEALAND DELIVERY TIMEFRAME

We will try and aim to have all New Zealand orders shipped the same day if orders are placed before 2pm (AEST) however if they are placed after this time they will be sent out the next business day.

We use Australia Post standard shipping which is approximately 5-12 business days.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We offer international shipping to all countries outside of Australia for a flat rate of $30 and they will be sent with Australia Post.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY TIMEFRAME

We will try and aim to have all international orders shipped the same day if orders are placed before 2pm (AEST) however if they are placed after this time they will be sent out the next business day.

We use Australia Post Standard shipping. Unfortunately Australia Post is currently experiencing some delivery delays due to Covid-19. Please visit the Australia Post website for the most up to date transit times to each country (www.auspost.com.au).

CUSTOM/OTHER FEES CHARGES

Orders shipped internationally may incur additional fee’s & duties. The responsibility for any custom duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may apply to your package rest solely with the customer.

Should the customer refuse to pay applicable duties & taxes applied by customs, the responsibility lies with the customer to arrange for the order to be returned in order to receive a refund.

If the customer refuses to accept the delivery and Birds Of Threads is charged for return of the parcel, the return shipping amount will be deducted from the customers refund to cover this cost.

SHIPPING CONFIRMATION/TRACKING NUMBER

Once your order has been placed you will receive an email confirmation. Once your order has been packed and picked up from our courier you will receive an email with a tracking number to track your parcel (Please Note: This email may go into your junk/spam folder so please check there before reaching out)

If you have checked your junk/spam folder and still have not received your emails please contact us on hello@birdsofthreads.com and we will be happy to resend it to you.

If you are not home at the time of delivery, for your convenience, your parcel will be left in a secure place if deemed safe to do so by the delivery driver. If they feel it is not safe to leave, or the parcel is too large, you will be left a card and your parcel will be taken to your local Australia Post for you than to collect.
